EditorialDear members and friends of the ABS, With cherry trees and daffodils in full blossom (see above), spring has arrived - at last! Though knowing that this phase of flowering will last for a short while only, we therefore better keep this newsletter short as well and hurry up for more things to come. As far as our famous and popular bunch of ABS events is concerned, this time we have good news (see below) and, unfortunately, sad news to report. We all knew Barbara Neudeck not only as a frequent attendee of our events, she also showed great engagement in recruiting new ABS members amongst her friends. It came as a great shock to hear only these days of her passing away already on 10 February by a car accident. We shall keep her in our memory as she always appeared: a friendly, lively and charming young lady whenever she turned up at our events, enjoying the getting together with you and me. Yours, in quiet thoughts, Fred Fruth, Secretary General and Editor-in-Chief
