Nine

Rarely have I seen so many happy, laughing faces than yesterday at the ninth edition of “It is nice to meet old friends and make new acquaintances alike”, the jointly organised Austro British Society-Austro British Chamber of Commerce Heurigen at the Buschenschank Wolff in Neustift am Walde, who by the way is a Corporate Member of our Society.

But here I need to correct myself already and the statement “jointly organised”. Organised it was indeed expertly like every year by the aforementioned Buschenschank Wolff. The Austro British Chamber of Commerce, however, appeared to be rather thin on the ground but maybe I have just overlooked them thanks to our members having been out in force again, which always surprises our President Prof Dr Kurt Tiroch, because it’s not a free event.

It was indeed “nice to meet old friends” in such convivial and relaxed surroundings. My photo series, I hope, captured this spirit of the afternoon with the many laughing faces. This is what it’s all about. Pity, if you have missed it.
