![]() EditorialDear Members and Friends of the ABS, with the hours of daylight getting shorter, the inevitable end of this incredibly hot summer is coming closer. Time for the farmers for bringing in their harvest. And also time for our President´s frequent half-yearly report on ABS events, review as well as preview. As far as one can say, it will be yet another very successful year reaching the total amount of 33 events. What is of particular worth of mentioning is the following: For the first time, we will have all events of one month to be held in English, consisting of three lectures dealing with different agendas. In his following contribution as guest editor Kurt Tiroch will give you more details of what we can expect for the remaining four months of 2018. Hence your editor-in-chief can lean back and enjoy a decent pint. Yours, rather relaxed, Fred Fruth, Secretary General (handing over the editorial duties to Kurt Tiroch, ABS President)
