EditorialDear Members and Friends of the ABS,
With artic temperatures like we suffer these days, one is tempted to stay indoors doing something that warms you up such as baking cookies. That´s all very nice n´ cosy, but we want you to getting out and starting the new year more active! Consequently, this February we offer you a real staccato of three events within eight days - for more details see below. Furthermore, by special invitation of Mag. Walter Krainz, Executive Director of our ABS Corporate Member ERNST & YOUNG, we would like to draw your attention to a charity event of the Rotary Club Moedling, of which he is a member - again, for all details see the attachment further below. Whilst talking of ABS Corporate Members, please find attached the latest updated list of our CMs for your information. May we grab this opportunity to once again say a big "Thank You" to them. After all, with their annual contribution of € 500.00 - that´s five-and-a-half times of an ordinary, individual membership fee - they secure the major share of costs of many an ABS event. Without their support we could not offer you such a remarkable number of events each year. More than any other bi-lateral society in Austria, as we know for sure. Finally, do enjoy your half term skiing holidays, though always make sure you have chosen the right slope (see the editor´s advise on "..the last page").
